Assunta carnival to raise funds for building

MEMBERS of the Assunta Alumni have organised a carnival to raise funds for the construction of a four-storey building. 

Committee member Pat Lu said the new block was necessary to cater to the needs of the 2,400 pupils. 

As part of the carnival two charity seminars will be held. 

How To Earn Other People's S.T.A.R, a programme build leadership skills will be conducted at the school's library and The Entreprenural Manager, a seminar will be held at the Crystal Crown Hotel. 

The public can register for the seminars during the carnival. 

Among the highlights of the Assunta Carnival are Radio 4 DJ Scam Boy who will be spinning hits on the day, a jumble sale, raffle draws, games and telematches home cooked food and performances by the Assunta cheerleaders. 

Former headmistress Sister Enda Ryan will attend the event and hold a photo-autograph session. 

Coupons for the carnival are priced at RM5 per booklet while all games and raffle tickets will be priced at RM2.
